Channel plans for radio links

In Norway, a relatively large number of frequency bands are planned for radio link purposes. The various bands are used either in accordance with national channel plans, European plans (CEPT/ECC) or channel plans prepared by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). This document provides an overview of the frequency bands that can be used for radio link purposes in Norway.

Please note that the frequencies listed are only names for the frequency bands. This does not mean that the entire frequency band is available for radio links. Protective bands, centre gap and any other services can be included in this. Individual transmitter licences can be applied for in the areas where spectrum licences have not been issued.
