Telecom services/universal service obligation services

The Universal Service Obligation in Norway.

In 2004 the State (represented by the Ministry of Transport and Communications) entered into an agreement with Telenor ASA to provide universal service obligation services. The agreement entails, among other things, that Telenor has a duty to supply access to public telephone services and digital electronic communications networks over the entire country, public pay telephones, directory enquiry services, telephone catalogue and special services for the disabled and other end-users with special needs.

The agreement is only available in Norwegian.
